Between Persian Heritage and Danish Design: The NAFAAS House Approach

Design is often explained through trends, materials, or eras.

For us, it begins somewhere more personal...

Life between cultures

Growing up Persian and Danish meant understanding early that
a home can speak many visual languages at once.

Persian influence taught us:

  • richness

  • symbolism

  • emotional warmth

  • hospitality as instinct

Danish influence taught us:

  • restraint

  • proportion

  • calm

  • beauty in simplicity

Neither is complete alone.
But together, they create balance.

Form, function, and feeling

Every NAFAAS House object is shaped by three questions:

  1. Does it serve a real function?
Objects should live with you, not around you.

  2. Does it feel timeless?
Not seasonal. Not trend-driven. Something that stays.

  3. Does it carry meaning?
    Even quietly. Even personally.

If all three are present, the object belongs.

A long-term vision

Vases are only the first chapter of NAFAAS House.
What follows will expand slowly, intentionally, and with care.

Because a meaningful home is never built all at once.
It grows piece by piece.

Just like this.
